JCK Tucson Set to Debut With 120 Vendors, 3,000 Buyers

The inaugural show will feature daily themes and show specials

Excitement for the first-ever JCK Tucson show is building—more than 3,000 buyers from around the globe have registered for the event, which will feature 120 vendors showcasing gold, silver, fashion, bridal, designer brands, and more inside the JW Marriott Star Pass Resort Feb. 3–8.

Daily themes will highlight each product category, and show specials will be offered. Buyers attending the event include Seattle’s Ben Bridge Jewelers, Reed Jewelers from Wilmington, N.C., Pave Fine Jewelry from Oakland, Calif., and Hamra Jewelers from Scottsdale, Ariz.

Vendors say they’re thrilled to have the opportunity to meet up with their existing merchants and look forward to connecting with new retailers in warm, sunny Tucson. “We are looking to continue the momentum [from 2013] and get an early start on 2014,” says Daniel Dabakarov of Dabakarov. “Because of JCK’s acquistion of GLDA in Tucson, this new show was the obvious choice to launch our new collection.”

Effy’s Mehran Etessami says he’s looking forward to the show for a number of reasons, and hopes it will “expand our independent retail business. We are also launching our debut bridal collection at Macy’s in February, so it will be exciting to hear the reaction in Tucson to this new facet of the brand.”

Less than a month to go—see you there!
