JCK Announces Timepieces at Luxury Collaborations

Share

Timepieces at Luxury, a new segment of JCK’s annual Luxury show in Las Vegas, will feature educational and networking activities in collaboration with newly announced partners Fondation Haute Horlogerie (FHH), a Geneva-based nonprofit focused on promoting and preserving the culture and heritage of fine watchmaking; RedBar Group, the world’s largest watch enthusiast community; and WatchPro magazine.

These collaborations will elevate and expand the Timepieces at Luxury experience, which provides buyers for watch retailers with the opportunity to connect with a comprehensive list of watch brands, including Citizen, Frederique Constant, Alpina Watches, Accutron, Bulova, Movado, Victorinox, Shinola, Wolf, G-Shock, Casio, Fossil Group, Vostok Europe, and more.

“The Fondation Haute Horlogerie is delighted to engage with JCK and Luxury within the framework of Timepieces at Luxury and JCK,” said Aurélie Streit, vice president of FHH, in a statement. “This initiative strongly resonates with our mission to share watchmaking culture and know-how with the widest possible audience.

“By bringing educational content, dialogue and hands-on learning into this environment, we aim to create meaningful moments of transmission, moments that help deepen understanding of what truly lies behind a timepiece, beyond the object itself,” Streit said.

RedBar Group will host a global meetup one evening during the JCK show, providing collectors with the opportunity to connect directly with some of the most recognized and innovative brands in the watch industry, and connect with fellow enthusiasts. The event will be by invitation only for RedBar members.

As an official partner of JCK and Luxury, WatchPro will host the Hot 100 party, a celebration of the top 100 influential figures in the watch industry. Key retailers, watch brand executives, media, and influencers are expected at the prestigious, invitation-only event.

“We are delighted to bring the Hot 100 back to Las Vegas, marking an exciting return for the event in the heart of the U.S. watch industry,” said Alex Douglas, brand manager for WatchPro, in a statement. “Thirteen years since its launch in the U.K. and four years after its U.S. debut, the Hot 100 remains a unique opportunity to recognize outstanding achievements across American retail, brands, and media. Our partnership with Timepieces at Luxury and JCK not only helps unite the industry but also allows us to celebrate the innovation and excellence that drive it.”

In addition to these collaborations, the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute (AWCI) will return to JCK with its Mobile Classroom—watchmaking workshops and educational sessions.

“Timepieces at Luxury and JCK has quickly become the next must-attend destination for the watch market,” said Sarin Bachmann, senior vice president for the RX jewelry portfolio (which includes JCK), in a statement. “The response from the watch and retail community has been outstanding, with an impressive roster of brands already committed and room still available for select brands, including emerging independents.

“We look forward to unveiling this expanded offering and welcoming both returning and new first-time watch buyers to Las Vegas, and we are excited to celebrate with retailers, press, and all the brands on Friday, May 29, at our official watch celebration.”
