The Contemporary Design Group on Friday presented its 11th annual High Achievement Awards to leaders in the designer jewelry market.
The four winners were recognized during the group’s annual gala at the Alexis Park.
The Most Valuable Designer Player award, for a designer who has created an indelible place in the world of designer jewelry, went to Ronna Lugosch. The Best Designer Retailer award, for a retailer who excels at selling and merchandising designer jewelry, went to Nordstrom. The Best Designer Advocate award, for an individual who has advanced the designer concept in the industry, was presented to Toni Lyn Judd. The Best Designer Supplier award, for a supplier who has done the most to help designers expand their business, went to Mayer and Watt.
The Design Hall of Fame award, won last year by David Yurman, was not presented this year because members could not reach a consensus.
