It’s the thick of Labor Day weekend. We hope you’re resting up because the action-packed week ahead is going to set the tone for the entire season. Between New York Fashion Week, which kicks off Sept. 7; WJA’s Jewelry Night Out, also on Sept. 7; and the start of the VicenzaOro fair in Italy on Sept. 8, we’re pooped already!

Comprising over 150 one-of-a-kind creations spanning Chan’s 50-year career, the exhibit includes such iconic pieces as Stilled Life, an imperial jadeite brooch sculpture that captures a cicada resting on a bamboo leaf, and Metamorphosis, a butterfly brooch that combines emeralds, real butterfly wings, and intricately carved rock crystal and mother-of-pearl. The exhibition also features around 20 never-before-seen works and a series of titanium and iron sculptures.
