JA New York returns to the Javits Center starting today, and the Women’s Jewelry Association, which just presented its annual Awards for Excellence in New York City, has two professional webinars on the docket. JDPN Friday Night Live: Oct. 29, 5 p.m. ET (online)

The Jewelry Design Professionals Network’s Friday Night Live series is back with a session hosted by jewelry marketer, consultant, and stylist Nancy Ross dedicated to clarifying the distinctions between vintage and antique jewelry. Ross will tackle the nuanced definitions of terms such as heirloom, relic, replica, provenance, retro, repro, and refashioned—and will explain what each one implies about value.
