Winter Show in NYC: Jan. 19–28 (in person)

The 70th annual Winter Show opens at the Park Avenue Armory this week. One of America’s premier art, antiques, and design fairs, the show features paintings, works on paper, fine furniture, design, jewelry, and contemporary ceramics and glass. Jewelers to see include period jewelry specialist Kentshire and the London-based Fabergé dealer Wartski.
VicenzaOro in Vicenza, Italy: Jan. 19–23 (in person)

From Jan. 19 to 23, the jewelry industry will have its eyes trained on VicenzaOro, the first major jewelry buying fair of the year. A mecca for lovers of gold jewelry, Italian fashion jewels, and vintage watches (which are on display at VO Vintage, a boutique marketplace for vintage dealers located adjacent to the main fair), the mega-fair is a bellwether of business and design trends.

The Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America (MJSA) is hosting a webinar on “B2B Marketing Mastery: From Leads to Loyalty” that will address the challenges and trends shaping the future of business-to-business marketing. Host Andrea Hill will explore the use of personalized and tailored content, examine digital tools that make highly personalized communications possible, and show how to better leverage data analytics and market research to drive results.
Van Cleef & Arpels “Garden of Green” Exhibition in NYC: through March 17 (in person)

Originally scheduled to close this month, “Garden of Green: Exquisite Jewelry From the Collection of Van Cleef & Arpels” has been extended at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City until March 17. A dazzling celebration of green gemstones, from peridot to malachite, as featured in jewelry over the past 100 years, the exhibit includes 44 pieces, 32 of which are on view in the U.S. for the first time.
