The Plumb Club’s January podcasts are out. The first major jewelry show of the year opens in northern Italy’s Veneto region on Friday. With more than 1,300 exhibitors representing the entire jewelry supply chain, including goldsmiths, designers, and watchmakers, VicenzaOro is a can’t-miss event. Shop ’til you drop! Also, don’t miss VO Vintage (Jan. 16–19), with 55 jewelry and watch exhibitors, and T.Gold (Jan. 16–20) in Hall 9, home to companies specializing in competitive and sustainable jewelry technologies.

Golden Globes Broadcast: Jan. 11 (online)

The 83rd Annual Golden Globes will stream live on CBS and Paramount+ tonight starting at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. Comedian Nikki Glaser returns for her second round of hosting the awards night. With a slate of presenters that includes Amanda Seyfried, Ana de Armas, Ayo Edebiri, Charli XCX, Chris Pine, Colman Domingo, Connor Storrie, Diane Lane, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon, Kevin Hart, Kyra Sedgwick, Miley Cyrus, Minnie Driver, Orlando Bloom, Pamela Anderson, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Queen Latifah, Snoop Dogg, Wanda Sykes, Will Arnett, and Zoë Kravitz, expect plenty of bold and trendsetting jewels (here’s looking at you, Colman!).
