Gemflix luz caminoJoin this week’s Gemflix webinar featuring Spanish jeweler Luz Camino in conversation with her son and collaborator, Fernando Tapia. Camino, the first woman in Spain to earn a master goldsmith title of Sacador de Fuego, will discuss her origins, her inspiration and process, her masterful techniques, a new monograph retrospective of her work, and, of course, her poetic jewels. Special guest Guilllaume Kientz, director of the Hispanic Society Museum in New York, will speak about the museum’s ongoing exhibition of Camino’s work (on view until Sept. 3).
