JCK Events Wishes Bonaparte Well

Reed Exhibitions, owner of the JCK Shows, wishes Dave Bonaparte well as he leaves to head Jewelers of America.

“It is always hard to say goodbye to someone of Dave’s caliber and tenure,” said Nancy Walsh, executive vice president for North American tradeshows, in a statement. “But he is embarking on an exciting new leg of his career and our existing leadership at JCK is well established and prepared to carry forward without any loss of focus on customer value.”

“Yancy Weinrich and John Tierney have been charged with the day-to-day management of the JCK portfolio since Dave took on a broader industry responsibility at Reed Exhibitions last year,” Walsh said. “As a result, they are fully equipped to continue guiding the brand’s growth and future development. Their customer focus and industry involvement is such that we—and the customers we have spoken to in making this announcement—are confident that this transition will be smooth and positive.

“We all certainly wish Dave great success in his new position and look forward to continuing to work with him as we serve the jewelry industry together,” Walsh added.
