Hedda T. Schupak, editor-in-chief of JCK magazine, has been named one of Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business.

An independent panel of judges made the selection from nominations of accomplished women business leaders throughout the state who are either owners or employees of Pennsylvania businesses. The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and the business journals of Pennsylvania sponsor the awards.

In a letter informing Schupak of the nomination, Dennis Yablonsky, secretary of the Department of Community and Economic Development, wrote, “You were chosen one of the 50 best women based upon your outstanding professional and personal accomplishments, and your advocacy in the business community, particularly in behalf of women.”

Schupak and the other award recipients will be honored in an awards celebration May 12 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, Pa.
