
Marvin Ellison replaces Myron E. (Mike) Ullman, who he also succeeded as CEO
J.C. Penney CEO Marvin Ellison (pictured) has also been appointed the retailer’s chairman, effective Aug. 1.
He replaces Myron E. (Mike) Ullman, who he also succeeded as CEO.
“For someone who started his retail career as a $4.35-per-hour store security officer, it is a blessing and an honor to be named chairman of J.C. Penney,” Ellison said in a statement.
