The Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT) has elected Brian D. Fleming, treasurer and executive vice president of Carla Corporation, its new chairman.

Fleming was first elected to the group’s board in 1999.

Jeff Corey, president of H.E. Murdock Company (which does business as Day’s Jewelers), was elected vice chair of JBT. He and Fleming will both serve one-year terms.

Andrew Rickard, executive vice president of operations for Rochester Diamonds and Gold, was appointed to JBT’s executive committee.

Lika Behmoaras, president of ISC Industries, has been elected to the JBT board of directors for a two-year term. The following directors were reelected, also for two years: Ira Bergman, the Gordon Company; Edward N. DeCristofaro, LDC; Teresa Frye, TechForm Advanced Casting Tech; Keven Peck, Color Merchants; Parag Jain, Parag Diamonds; Roger Gesswein III, Paul H. Gesswein & Co.; and Rickard.
