The Jewelers of America Political Action Committee has set an agenda for the 2012 elections in November.
JAPAC board members are set to meet with legislators in Washington D.C. this June to talk about issues such as sales tax fairness.
“Meeting with legislators in person, so they can hear directly from their constituents in the jewelry industry, is one of the most effective ways we have to get our messages across,” Matthew A. Runci, JA president and CEO, said in a statement.
