Jane Win x Giadzy Collab Celebrates Gratitude—and Olive Oil

Share

Think of an Italian kitchen, and you’ll conjure images of warmth, artisanal food, and gatherings of loved ones—all motifs related to Jane Win’s new jewelry collaboration with Giada De Laurentiis’ Italian food brand, Giadzy.

The limited-edition Giadzy x Jane Win collection includes three new gratitude-themed jewelry pieces: two coin pendants and a charm necklace. Every purchase comes with a bottle of Giadzy olive oil, pairing meaningful jewelry with the idea of cooking for family and friends, says Jane Win president Kate Kenny.

“I think we found a delightfully unexpected, perfect partner in Giadzy, well known for helping us transform a simple meal into an act of gratitude for those you share it with,” Kenny says.

Giadzy is the brainchild of Emmy Award-winning chef and entrepreneur De Laurentiis. Her cookbooks, television appearances, and design prowess have made Giada herself a brand and well-known media personality.

The Jane Win x Giadzy collaboration features a three-charm necklace, the double-sided lemon tree/gratitude coin, and the petite embellished olive branch pendant.

De Laurentiis is also a longtime Jane Win fan—she wore a Jane Win joy pendant on the cover of her cookbook Eat Better, Feel Better. Brand founder Jane Winchester Paradis says seeing that pendant on De Laurentiis was a joy, which she will never forget. And the admiration is mutual, says Paradis. “I started cooking, and I blame Giada—I mean, I thank her.”

The jewelry designer tells JCK, “This collaboration was wonderfully organic, given our yearlong focus on gratitude. Together, beyond the product, we can amplify a reminder to celebrate intentional gatherings, where we best express our gratitude.”

Paradis says Jane Win’s Giadzy collab exemplifies the kind of connection she wants to have with other brands. Giadzy is about special moments with family and friends around the table—those times, like a jewelry purchase, create memories.

“I was looking through a drawer and found a recipe written on a very worn and loved index card. It is my mother-in-law’s handwriting,” says Paradis. “It felt so special. Things that are passed down, things that are treasured. Recipes and jewelry have that in common.”

Capri’s lemon and olive trees helped inspire the new Jane Win x Giadzy collaboration.

Jane Win also took inspiration for the Giadzy jewels from the Italian island of Capri, where lemon and olive trees grow. Those became motifs for the collection, as seen on the Gratitude Citrus Tile and Gratitude Olive Branch coin pendants.

The olive branch charm, priced at $298, is made of 14k gold–plated brass and dotted with pink tourmaline and yellow quartz stones. The lemon coin ($328) is 14k gold–plated sterling silver. Both pieces show a moon and star—the Jane Win logo—on their reverse side, with the Citrus Tile coin additionally inscribed with the word gratitude.

Giadzy x Jane Win’s Gratitude charm necklace, which costs $248, is a powder-coated wire with three 14k gold–plated charms: a lemon blossom with mother-of-pearl cabochon, a sun face, and a sundial—representing gratitude, strong, and forever, respectively.
