James Avery, a Texas-based jewelry retailer, announced Jan. 19
that it will open its 60th store in Little Rock, Ark., in February 2011.
This location will add to the growing presence of James Avery in the
southeastern United States, where the retailer has targeted expansion in recent
years.
The retailer has opened stores in the past several years in Shreveport and
Baton Rouge, La.; Franklin and Germantown, Tenn.; Birmingham, Ala.; and an
additional Atlanta-area location.
James Avery says it’s looking at further expansion opportunities, with several
cities being evaluated as possible new sites in late 2011 and 2012. The
company’s growth strategy involves opening an average of five to eight new
stores annually over the next four to five years.
