I’ll never miss an opportunity to gush about Jade Trau’s latest designs—luxurious, wearable, and effortlessly cool. The designer has once again unveiled new jewels for her eponymous brand that were created with its devoted clientele in mind: pieces to reach for every day that still deliver an unmistakable, heart-fluttering sense of occasion.

Trau’s spring 2026 collection expands her lineup of irresistible charms, refreshing some of Trau’s earlier designs with miniature versions and introducing spiritual tokens as well as an entirely new style for the brand: the rondelle. Round and bead-like, rondelles are a longtime staple of charm bracelets. They’re elevated through the Jade Trau lens, rendered aspirational with the brand’s signature knife-edge detailing and bead-set diamonds.

Below, Trau reflects on the inspiration and intention behind the latest collection.

The spring line reimagines some of your iconic pieces. What have you learned about designing since you created the originals, and would you change anything about how you did them in the first place?
Oh, I love that question. It’s very vulnerable and something I think about often. I have a test for myself. Any piece I would grade below a 97 percent is something I revisit.
When I first started, taking an idea from my head to a finished piece felt much harder, so I may have been less critical about how close I got to perfection, which of course does not exist. Now I have the luxury to obsess over the smallest detail and say to myself, if it’s not exactly how I envisioned it, I have time. I can launch it next season. Or not at all.
I also feel grateful that I now get to use my own archive as inspiration. Years of designing have given me Jade Trau building blocks that allow me to create newness while staying very close to our DNA.

Do you have a favorite addition?
I love the new Sophisticate drop earring in all three sizes. But if I’m being honest, I’ve been on a mission to design earrings that I want to wear all the time, so I probably designed those for myself, which makes sense that they would be my favorite. I also love the new Lotus charm [pictured at top]. I think I’m going to add a mini one to my personal stack.

What do the new spiritual tokens mean to you? How do you think they appeal to what consumers are looking for now?
Going back to your first question for a second—I promise I’ll come full-circle—while I would definitely tweak some of my original designs, one thing that has always stayed true is that I design modern versions of classic diamond jewelry. Because of that, I’m less focused on what consumers are looking for in the moment and more focused on layering pieces into the collection that align with the intention of the brand.
That said, I’m deeply influenced by my own life experiences and what’s happening in the world. I think we all need hope and optimism right now. We are living through a lot of conflict and uncertainty, and for me, these pieces are a way to connect to something peaceful and collective.

Assuming these will be on display at Couture this spring, do you have any other plans in the works to be revealed at the show?
Of course. I would never show up to Couture without something new and exciting. I genuinely love designing jewelry, so I’m always looking for a reason to expand the collection.
