Jacob Arabo, founder and CEO of Jacob & Co., has been named the jewelry trendsetter for 2006 by Modern Bride magazine. Recognized as having “shaped, influenced, re-imagined and, in general, elevated the world of weddings to a whole new level,” the company’s diamond jewelry designs reflect contemporary elegance and timeless appeal for the modern bride, the magazine said in a statement.

Jacob & Co. prevailed among all other designers of fine diamond jewelry, being the sole recipient of the award. He is recognized alongside twenty-five designers honored for their expertise in the industry, such as Kate Spade, Monique Lhuillier, and Stuart Weitzman. Arabo says he credits the inspiration for his designs to the ever demanding, fashionable lifestyle of his clients, which include David Beckham, Justin Timberlake, Bono, Jessica Alba, Madonna, and Elton John.
