Let me just clarify something straightaway: When the announcement of a new Jacob & Co. brand collaboration with Loewe popped up in my inbox, NGL (as the kids say), I immediately thought it had something to do with the chicer than chic Spanish label known for its gorgeous leather goods and revolving door of top-shelf creative directors.
But no: This “Loewe” is in fact a 100-year-old superhigh-end German electronics brand of the same name (confusing, I know).
And honestly, given Jacob & Co.’s diamond-encrusted, music industry-adjacent DNA, the matchup with this particular Loewe makes more sense.
Known for producing high-quality audio products (e.g., amplifiers, subwoofers, Bluetooth speakers, and multi-room systems), Loewe has developed a pair of state-of-the-art headphones for the collaboration. Rendered in anodized aluminum and leather, with ear covers etched in a geometric pattern, the collaboration headphones are available in two distinctive styles; both have been spectacularly lavished with gems and jewelry-inspired gold components.
The idea was to create a “high jewelry audio masterpiece” that combined the intricacies of refined, high-resolution audio engineering with Jacob & Co.’s signature diamond-encrusted maximalism. Engineered for clarity, depth, and seamless interaction, the technical features of the headphones (e.g., advanced noise cancellation and AI functionality) may appeal to active gamers and music aficionados who require the crème de la crème of listening experiences.
But the decorative elements are perhaps more enticing to those who prefer jewels over gigabytes: The Ice Diamond edition, limited to a range of five, features 12.47 cts. of diamonds in 14k gold, while Noir Rainbow, also limited to five, is adorned with 15.97 cts. of radiant sapphires in 14k rose gold.
In a joint statement, Loewe Technology CEO-owner Aslan Khabliev and Jacob & Co. founder-CEO Jacob Arabo said the following:
