Jack Kelége gave retailers at JCK LUXURY 2015 at peek at his new XO Forever jewelry collection but has since beefed up offerings considerably. The eight-SKU, 18k gold line comprising bangles, earrings, and bands aims to bridge the gap between the Los Angeles–based designer’s wedding jewelry and fashion-forward looks through sweetly sculpted hugs and kisses—an easily recognized and understandable concept for consumers. Styles also feature brilliant-cut colorless diamonds and milgrain edges as frame links in some styles.
“I wanted to expand upon a traditional XO motif with something fluid and romantic,” Kelége told the press upon release of the news. “So I added in the spirit of the infinity symbol—a variation on a horizontal number 8—to give the pieces movement. This idea of XO + infinity seemed entirely appropriate for both brides and couples well into their marriages.”
Suggested retail prices start at $5,950, and necklaces will appear in the line December. Pieces are already shipping to stores, and the buy-in for the collection is $26,000.
