JA New York Summer Show returns to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. The show will run from July 29 – Aug. 1. Improvements to the show experience includes new networking opportunities, a bridal showcase, and a iW Watch Pavilion.
More than 1,700 designers and manufacturers will exhibit at the four-day event, and over 13,000 retailers are expected to attend.
New for JA Summer will be an “After Hours Lounge” right after the show closes on Sunday and Tuesday evenings at the Javits Center.
On Monday night there’s complimentary access to the exclusive JA New York Summer Show Dance Party at Studio Mesmor, a New York City night club, just a three minute walk from the Javits Center. There will also be a Networking Café where show participants can take a break, check e-mail and, meet with others.
The first ever interactive Bridal Showcase will be unveiled in the lobby of the Jacob K. Javits Center. It will include a new Best in Bridal Contest. Live models will circulate on the show floor dressed in bridal attire from David’s Bridal, wearing jewelry supplied by JA exhibitors. Mannequins in bridal gowns and bridal jewelry will be presented in the Bridal Showcase in the lobby.
In addition, the show has partnered with Fine Life Media for the first iW Watch Pavilion, featuring new watch brands such as Ball Watch, Luminox, Ernst Benz, and D. Atlantis and expand the current show offerings for the watch buyer.
Also, Hong Kong, Israel, Belgium, Italy, India, Korea, Thailand, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey, Japan, Germany, Singapore, Taiwan, Spain and Portugal will be in international pavilions. Other pavilions include American Gem Trade Association’s Colored Stone Pavilion, Diamond Dealers Club, and Diamond Way. There also will be Platinum Collection, New Product Gallery, New Designer Gallery, Gift Gallery and Antique & Estate Jewelry Pavilion provide something for all. For seeking upscale designs, there’s the Collection Showcase, Inner CircleTM, and Place Vendome.
Once again this summer, the Golden Apple award will be distributed to three different designers with outstanding publicity and marketing campaigns. The categories for the award, Sparkle, Fusion, and Innovation, welcome up-and-coming designers as well as experienced ones.
