Ivanka Trump Jewelry Appoints New President as Hansen Resigns

Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry appointed Geoffrey N. Hess, a lawyer and founder of Guiliani Partners, as its new president.

Hess was a founding member of Giuliani Partners, the consulting firm headed by former New York City mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani. Previously, he served as the youngest senior advisor to the mayor during the Giuliani administration, and an associate at Tishman Speyer Properties, where he managed the negotiation of major commercial leasing transactions.

Hess succeeds Andrea Hansen, who is leaving the company to spend more time with her family.

“I know it won’t come as a surprise to many of you who know me personally that the extraordinary travel demands of my position had become a burden,” Hansen said in an email. “I am extremely proud of the business we have created together and, most of all, of the relationships we have built.  A great transition plan is in place to ensure continuity of the business.”

Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry was formed in 2009. In December, it opened a new store in SoHo, and a Beijing flagship boutique is slated to open in fall 2012.
