Istanbul Jewelry Show Set for October

The Istanbul Jewelry Show is scheduled to take place Oct. 3–6 at the Istanbul Fair Center. Known worldwide as a major producer of gold jewelry, Turkey is uniquely positioned at the crossroads of three continents—and, according to show organizer UBM Rotaforte (a division of UBM Asia), the country exported more than $2 billion worth of gold jewelry in 2012. More than 600 exhibitors from 25 countries will be occupying 30,000 square meters of space, and hosted buyers from Bahrain, Croatia, Qatar, and other countries will be shopping the show. Expect to see international pavilions from Hong Kong, Italy, and Thailand, as well as a new registration system whereby visitors can pre-register online to get e-badges.
