Brigadier General Moti Besser has been appointed the managing director of the Israel Diamond Exchange, the country’s bourse.
Besser served as managing director of the Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association from 2002–2007, as well as financial advisor to the chief of staff of the Israel Defense Forces.
“I see my participation in leading the exchange as a huge challenge, especially in light of the tough competition posed by the world’s other diamond centers,” Besser said in a statement.
