Industry veterans Danny Govberg, CEO of Govberg Jewelers, and Liam Wee Tay, the former owner of Sincere Watch, have founded WatchBox, an online platform for buying, selling, and trading preowned watches.
Singapore-based private equity firm CMIA Capital Partners has pledged up to $100 million for the project.
Tay will serve as chairman, while Govberg and private equity veteran Justin Reis will serve as co-CEOs.
