India’s jewelry foundation pledges money to tsunami victims

India’s Gem & Jewellery National Relief Foundation (GJNRF), the corporate social responsibility cell promoted by the Gem and Jewellery Traders of India, is contributing approximately $117,000 towards the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for tsunami victims, the Indian newspaper, The Hindu reports.

The Union Commerce Minister, Kamal Nath, will present the check to the Prime Minister on behalf of the foundation, says a release.
