An Indiana jeweler who was charged earlier this week with eight felony charges for allegedly attempting to sell stolen jewelry could face more charges, according to a local news report.
According to the report, a raid on the Steven Newton’s home uncovered more evidence, including over a quarter million dollars in cash.
Police had been investigating the owner of S.H. Newton Jewelers for three years. He is currently free on bail and the store remains closed.
