Indian-born, Dubai-based jeweler John Paul Joy Alukkas has been named one of Asia’s top 10 wealthiest millennials by Wealth-X, the research agency that specializes in the affluent.
Alukkas is the nonexecutive director of Joyalukkas, the India-based jewelry group. The company was founded by his father, Joy Alukkas, in 1987 and has retail outlets throughout India and the Middle East.
The Wealth-X report puts the younger Alukkas’ net worth at $820 million and ranks him eighth among the top 10 wealthiest Asian millennials.
