India International Jewellery Week 2013 Concludes in Mumbai

The fourth edition of India International Jewellery Week, hosted by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, concluded its four-day run at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai on Aug. 8.

IIJW was presented by the Gemological Institute of America in association with PC Jeweler.

The opening of the show on Aug. 4 featured a jewelry collection by Gitanjali Gems worn by models and well-known actresses, including Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha.

The Aug. 8 grand finale featured a “Best of Best” show that highlighted the best creations by each participating designer.

“We are proud to announce the fourth edition of India’s most sought after jewelry show which has been an ideal platform for not only the established jewelers and designers, but also encouraged next-gen designers to showcase their immense talent, craftsmanship, and innovation in the field of jewelry design,” Vipul Shah, chairman of GJEPC, said in a statement.
