The International Gemological
Institute recently wrapped up a week of events in Panama City, in
conjunction with the country’s recently opened Panama Diamond Exchange.
On Oct. 25, IGI and PDE held an in-depth seminar on diamond grading, teaching
students the importance of independent grading reports
Following the seminar, IGI operated a laboratory on-site at the exchange for
the full week.
Based on the success of these events, IGI has committed to offering its
polished diamond course in Panama in March.
