International Diamond Laboratories said Thursday that it will set up a laboratory in Istanbul at the headquarters of the Istanbul Chamber of Jewelry. The IDL lab will be the first of its kind in Turkey.
The Chamber’s headquarters is in the heart of the Istanbul diamond and jewelry center. A team of international experts will run the local operations. The first certificate in Istanbul will be issued in June.
The Istanbul Chamber of Jewelry represents 6.000 wholesalers and retailers from the Istanbul region.
IDL and the Chamber made the announcement during the Istanbul Jewelry Show.
