IDI to open its first diamond pavilion at Istanbul show

The Israel Diamond Institute will open the first Israel Diamond Pavilion in Turkey, at the Istanbul International Jewelry Show (March 24 – 27). This is in keeping with IDI policy to continue to expand world-marketing efforts, especially through participation in international trade exhibitions, the organization said in a statement.

Participating in the Israel Diamond Pavilion in Hall 4, Booth 4936 – 4946 are: Berman Diamonds, Gal Diamond Ltd. and Mordechay Turjeman Diamonds. In addition, the Israel Diamond Institute will have an informational booth, to cater to show visitors and exhibitors interested in conducting business with the Israel diamond industry.

In the past the Israel Diamond Institute had participated in the show with an informational booth, but had not done so for several years

“We greatly value Turkey as a friend and a business partner,” said Simcha Lustig, IDI chairman. “We are pleased that Israeli diamond exporters will be exhibiting with us in this show and look forward to an expanded presence here in future years.”

He added that in 2005 IDI plans to participate in eight exhibitions and trade missions.
