IDI to launch a new brand identity

The Israel diamond industry is upgrading its brand identity with an international campaign to be launched at BASELWORLD 2006. The new brand is the result of an extensive strategic research process led by the Israel Diamond Institute over the past year, with the association of Parazar Brand Boutique.

The launch will take place at a champagne breakfast press conference on March 31 at 8:45am in the Osaka Samarkand Congress Room of the Basel Convention Center. The event will focus on the new brand identity and the strategic process that led to it.

Special guest speaker will be Nicky Valentine, Diamond Trading Company marketing manager, Global Brand Development, who will discuss international trends in branding. Shmuel Schnitzer, chairman of IDI’s Marketing and Communications Committee and president of the WFDB, will bring the perspective of the Israel diamond industry. The strategic and creative considerations behind the new brand identity will be presented by Dan Ben Ari, CEO of Parazar Brand Boutique.

IDI’s PR booth, located at Hall3.1, stand NO1, will be redesigned to incorporate all of the facets of the new brand. In addition, a strong presence of Israeli diamantaires will be felt, with dozens of Israeli diamantaires exhibiting independently, mainly in Halls 2, 3, and 6.
