The Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies promoted Alissa Goren to deputy managing director and chief marketing officer. She will be responsible for marketing strategy and implementation of the IDI Group of Companies.
Goren’s promotion was in keeping with the group’s reorganization over the last year, IDI said in a statement. The Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies has undergone a significant expansion, both in its areas of responsibility as well as its volume of activity.
“This is the first time that we have appointed a chief marketing officer, and the creation of this position emphasizes the importance we attach to the marketing function at IDI,” said IDI chairman Moti Ganz.
IDI Managing Director Eli Avidar added, “This is an important step for IDI and will enable us to further expand our marketing initiatives in existing and developing markets. There is no one more fitting to hold this position than Alissa Goren.”
Alissa Goren was previously director of Marketing, PR, and Trade Shows at IDI since 2004. She joined the organization in 2000.
