The International Colored Gemstone Association has relocated its headquarters from New York City to Hong Kong.
The ICA will still maintain an office in New York City at a new location, but will be headquartered in Hong Kong to cater to the expanding Asian market.
The new offices, which opened this month, will be led by Daniel Leung, executive assistant to the ICA president.
“Asia in general, and China in particular, is claiming a larger role in international business, and it is imperative that we are based in the heart of the region to enable us to provide a comprehensive service to our membership and to the industry,” Wilson Yuen, ICA president, said in a statement.
