Sea-inspired jewelry from Belle Étoile
Ah, the turtle kid. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, visit this YouTube video from 2007. It’s just a kid being a kid, probably, but the phrase “I like turtles” is sort of the new (well, new-ish) “and then I found five dollars.” It’s what some say when they really have no idea what else to say. And if you haven’t heard it, well, maybe I need new friends (just kidding!). The thing is, I really do have an affinity for the shelled reptiles: particularly the big, beautiful, and ancient sea turtles. And wearing jewelry depicting the remarkable creatures is enough to show your appreciation, without actually having to say it. The message: Zombie Kid impressions, well, they really aren’t for everyone. These jewels, hand-painted in Italian enamel from Belle Étoile, however, are.
