HSN has appointed Bill Brand president, giving him control of merchandising, programming, and planning.
Brand is currently chief marketing and business development officer of HSNi, the channel’s parent company, and he will retain the marketing role with this new position. He will report to HSNi CEO Mindy Grossman.
Brand joined HSN in 2006 as senior vice president of programming. He previously worked at Lifetime and VH1.
“Eight years ago, Bill was the first person I hired to join the HSN team, and he has been one of my key partners in transforming HSN into the full network of experiences that it is today,” said Grossman in a statement.
