HRD Antwerp NV said it will hold two seminars for trade show attendees during the Hong Kong Jewellery & Watch Fair.

The seminars, entitled “HRD Antwerp refines its Cut Grade and introduces objective Hearts & Arrows standard” will be held on Sept. 15 at 2 p.m. at AsiaWorld Expo, Level 2, Room 204 and on Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. at HKCEC, Old Wing, Level 6, Room 607. They will be presented by Yves Kerremans, head of HRD Antwerp–Research. Both seminars will be followed by a reception.

The Hearts and Arrows by HRD Antwerp is a new measuring service designed for diamond professionals, who require accurate and repeatable feedback to assist them in the manufacturing and sales process. It has already been implemented in the grading services provided by the HRD Antwerp – Diamond Lab, which issues one of the world’s most  respected diamond certificates. 

During the trade show, HRD Antwerp will launch its online HRD Antwerp Link service, enabling clients to check their certificates data online. A permanent demonstration of the HRD Antwerp Link will be possible at the HRD Antwerp booth, located at booth EH05 at the Expo Drive Hall.

Since March 2008, HRD Antwerp and its logistics partner Malca Amit are operating a direct certification service called ‘HRD Lab Link’ to Hong Kong. This service provides members of the Hong Kong diamond and jewellery centre direct access to the HRD Antwerp – Diamond Lab, one of the world’s most respected diamond grading institutions.
