Hollywood Collection at Atlanta Show

The Kazanjian Foundation’s Jewels for CharityHollywood Collection, which tours fine jewelry stores, galleries and museums worldwide, is coming to the Atlanta Jewelry Show.

Hosted by Jewelers For Children, and sponsored by Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company, and the Atlanta Jewelry Show, the famed collection will be on display in the Point of View: A Designer’s Gallery on the show floor. Retailers will have the opportunity to learn how to host the collection in their own stores to build traffic and raise charitable funds. The Atlanta Jewelry Show will be held March 1-3 at the Cobb Galleria Centre.

Jewelers for Children, the industry charity, has partnered with The Kazanjian Foundation and its Jewels for Charity program, the charitable arm of the founders ofKazanjian Bros, Inc, to host the national tour of the Jewels for Charity Hollywood Collection to retail jewelers across the U.S. The Hollywood Collection features prized jewelry formerly owned by Hollywood celebrities including Bing Crosby, Clark Gable, Carol Lombard, Eva Gabor, Howard Hughes, as well as famous notables such as the Shah of Iran. The collection also includes pieces like the tiara worn by Madonna during her wedding to Guy Richie and the late Princess Diana’s sapphire and gold floral necklace with the Prince of Wales emblem.

Many pieces in the collection are for sale, and 100 percent of the proceeds are donated to charities – with 30 percent designated to JFC and 70 percent to a charity that the jeweler chooses, which can include JFC.

“This incredible collection offers a truly innovative way for independent retailers to get involved in raising funds for important causes,” said Carol Young, executive director, Southern Jewelry Travelers Association, producers and managers of the Atlanta Jewelry Show.
