The eighth annual Luxury by JCK and the first Premiere Event opened with an impressive Welcome Reception Tuesday night at poolside at the Venetian Hotel Resort Casino where the two events are taking place.

Hundreds of the industry’s finest retailers and manufacturers gathered for an evening filled with camaraderie and revelry. The opening Welcome Reception was sponsored by Premiere, which brought an additional 61 high end manufacturers and 100 hosted retailers to the ballrooms of the Venetian alongside the Luxury by JCK event.

Yancy Weinrich, event director for Luxury by JCK kicked off the two events on Tuesday morning during an interactive presentation complete with industry trivia where retailers were awarded gift certificates to the Venetian Grand Canal Shops for the correct answers. Yancy also recognized Goldmark for their contribution to Luxury by JCK for providing all of the marketing collateral for the 2007 event.

“It is an honor to organize an event that truly brings the leaders of the industry together for three-days to network with clients, conduct business and build new relationships,” Weinrich said. “Looking around the rooms and at the Salon Collections, we have a wonderfully diverse selection of products and we welcome both repeat attendees and new retailers that might be joining us for the first time as part of Premiere.” 

The Salon Collections, home to many of the industry’s finest companies, are in ballroom settings on two floors of the Venetian Hotel Resort Casino. The Salons boast the most upscale exhibiting environment that mirrors many of the brands that participate in Luxury/Premiere. The Salon Collection opened at 10 a.m. and was quickly filled with retailers looking for the newest styles from 205 companies showcasing the most brilliant jewels from dramatic necklaces to preppy pearls to colored stones.
