Every year, brand-building agency Moosylvania surveys thousands of American consumers, asking them what their favorite brand is (without any prompts).
This year’s 20 most popular brands for millennial-aged respondents—as revealed in an abstract of the company’s annual Top 100 Millennial Brands Report—are, in order: Apple, Nike, Samsung, Target, Amazon, Sony, Walmart, Microsoft, Coke, Google, Adidas, Nintendo, Pepsi, Starbucks, Victoria’s Secret, Ford, Forever 21, Jordan (as in Air Jordan), American Eagle, and Disney.
Moosylvania, which has yet to publish the full report but shared a portion with Retail Dive, told the website that “retailers dominate the rest of the list, with merchants or clothing brands making up almost a third of the top 100.”
The 2017 list was compiled from 15,000 responses culled between 2013–2017.
