Hearts on Fire, the diamond brand owned by Chinese retail powerhouse Chow Tai Fook, has appointed Dave Zhou general manager for China.
He will report to Rita Maltez, who was named Hearts on Fire’s global president in May.
Zhou most recently served as Asia managing director for bridal group Pronovias. He’d previously held regional leadership roles at Hermès, Bottega Veneta, and Lanvin.
At Hearts of Fire, Zhou will be responsible for commercial and retail operations, marketing and communications, and customer engagement in China.
In a statement, Maltez said, “China is an important market for Hearts on Fire and represents a tremendous opportunity for us.”
