Hearts On Fire has appointed Yunjo Lee, a veteran of Tiffany and Mejuri, to serve as chief creative officer, effective Sept. 19.
In her new role, Lee will lead and inspire creative strategy and product development and evolve the brand’s design studio.
Lee’s body of work includes working with legendary artists Paloma Picasso and Frank Gehry for their Tiffany & Co. collections. She most recently served as director of jewelry design at Canadian direct-to-consumer jewelry brand Mejuri, where she oversaw both women’s and men’s collections.
She has also served as guest designer at Bucherer, creative director for Michael Kors Jewelry at the Fossil Group, a design consultant for John Hardy, and designer for Rosy Blue’s line of Vera Wang Fine Jewelry, according to LinkedIn.
“Hearts On Fire is transforming into a new kind of brand,” said brand global president Rita Maltez in a statement. “We are building on our legacy of quality and craftsmanship, while stepping firmly into the future with modernity and openness.”
Maltez was formally appointed global president in May.
