Hearts On Fire contributes $125,000 to GIA endowment fund

Hearts On Fire, a diamond marketing and branding company, recently contributed $125,000 to the Gemological Institute of America’s Endowment Fund for Education. Hearts On Fire also is this year’s sponsor of the Institute’s League of Honor Dinner, where its partners, Pankaj Mehta and Kaushik Mehta of Eurostar, will be inducted into the League of Honor.

“There’s nothing more important to the Hearts On Fire culture than education,” said Glenn Rothman, co-founder and CEO of the company. “We encourage our employees to continue their educational training.

Rothman says he believes in GIA’s education program and the opportunities it provides for graduates preparing to enter the gem and jewelry industry.

“I’m proud that my partners at Eurostar have identified the importance of GIA as an educational leader in our industry and have generously provided their financial support,” Rothman said. “It is my pleasure, and that of Hearts On Fire, to be able to honor them this year.”

Rothman’s gift will be permanently invested in the Hearts On Fire Endowed Scholarship Fund. A portion of the fund’s earnings may be allocated annually by the GIA Board of Governors for student scholarships.

Susan Rothman, co-founder of Hearts On Fire, will be inducted into the League of Honor next year in honor of the company’s gift. Glenn Rothman was inducted in 2000 for a previous $125,000 gift from Hearts On Fire.
