Halloween on the East Coast this year is extra scary because of the damage inflicted by Superstorm Sandy—here’s to a speedy recovery for us all. Thank goodness for our policemen and women, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, Red Cross workers, and anyone else involved in Sandy rescues, cleanup, and repair. Things can be replaced, lives can’t; so I, like many others in our industry, am counting my many blessings today, and have been moved by the rush of support and well wishes pouring into my email and evident on social media platforms like Facebook. Be well, everyone, and stay safe. We’ll get things back on track soon.
