Hamilton Jewelers is taking its holiday celebrations up a notch this year, adding in-store and even yacht-based experiences to its roster of events, trunk shows, and charitable fund-raising efforts.
The fourth-generation retailer is hosting festive activations throughout November and December at its Princeton, N.J., flagship—starting with installation of its annual over-the-top holiday decorations—as well as at Hamilton’s two Palm Beach, Fla., stores (Worth Avenue and Palm Beach Gardens).
“Hamilton is always dedicated to engaging with our clients in a meaningful way,” says the company’s executive vice president, Anne Russell. “We like to try to create experiences for our clients in Q4 when everyone is feeling festive—it’s a great way to continue to surprise and delight our known clients and bring new faces to our website and into our stores.”
The season kicked off in early November with two watch events. The one in Palm Beach, on Nov. 5, was held aboard the 155-foot Moonraker yacht and included a cocktail party and a talk with Breitling U.S. brand president Thierry Prissert. In Princeton, Hamilton hosted a watch fair Nov. 7–8 featuring Bulgari watchmakers, new timepieces, a discussion about Swiss watchmaking and Italian design, and a little aperitivo.

This month Hamilton has brought back Festive Fête, a special weekend for holiday shopping the company introduced in 2024. It takes place today and tomorrow at the Princeton store, and happened last weekend in Palm Beach Gardens.
For the Princeton Fête, Hamilton is showcasing collections from jewelry brands including Dinh Van, Roberto Coin, and Viltier, and on Saturday a Lingua Fanc NYC trunk show will be held at the store. Hamilton supplies hot chocolate and Cozy Croissant Embroidery to do complimentary personalized napkins for guests during the two-day Fête.
Seasonal events like this are fun for staff, customers, and jewelry brands alike, and are a nice way to end the year, says Russell.
“This year we have had the incredible opportunity to bring in one-of-a-kind and ultrarare gemstones, jewelry and timepieces for various events at each of our boutiques,” she says. “We are so thankful for our partners, who love to collaborate, and our team, who work tirelessly to create memorable events and activations that will create buzz and excitement for Hamilton Jewelers.”

Another recent event at Hamilton—part of the House of Craft series presented by watch website Hodinkee and financial services company UBS—spotlighted independent watchmaker Laurent Ferrier. Watch enthusiasts were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at Lauren Ferrier’s craftsmanship and heritage.
On Giving Tuesday (Dec. 2), a “giving tree” in the Princeton store featured ornaments with QR codes that clients could scan to get information and make donation to local charities that Hamilton supports: Mercer Street Friends, HomeFront, and Princeton Nursery School. (In Palm Beach, the jeweler fundraises for the Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity.)
“Our brand was founded on community, and we strive to connect with our clients, brand partners, and locals with differentiated experiences that enrich our relationships,” Russell says. “While it is important to activate year-round, we especially love gathering for the holiday season and being part of our clients’ gifting and love stories, while educating and having a whole lot of fun along the way.”
