Greenwich Jewelers Debuts “Lucky in Love” Contest

Second generation-owned Greenwich Jewelers at Trinity Place in Manhattan is encouraging lovebirds to share their stories with the store in order to win a diamond ring and matching wedding band by Beverly K. worth $10,000.

The “Lucky in Love” contest recently unveiled by the 37-year-old New York City shop requires entrants to detail how their love story unfolded. They also must submit a photo “that captures that magical feeling.” (Entries can be viewed on the store’s Facebook fan page, which would-be contestants must “Like” to enter.)

“It doesn’t have to be a professional photo—we’re looking for the essence of romance,” the press release announcing the contest says. “Then we’ll choose the story and picture that best express that incredible, head-over-heels feeling.”

The entry that gets the most votes will win the ring set. The contest will end Aug. 31, and winners will be announced on Sept. 3.

The grand prize ring set is made in platinum, and has more than 1 ct. t.w. diamonds in a vintage-inspired setting.
