The Dark Side: Goth Jewels Not Just For Halloween

Share

Vampire weddings. That’s what Pinterest set us up for when it delivered its report of top trends for the 2022 wedding season earlier this year.

People were searching for black wedding dresses, goth wedding decorations, and black wedding cakes before that Kardashian who married a ’90s rock star even walked down the aisle (their affair was heavy on the goth aesthetic and basically sponsored by Dolce & Gabbana, so you can imagine the vibe).

You don’t have to be a follower of pop culture to get caught up in the goth, vampiric mood some of the world’s most fashionable stars are finding themselves in (if you’re as big a fan of What We Do in the Shadows as I am, you may find it pretty compelling).

Given that we’re knocking on Halloween’s door, this trend couldn’t come at a better time, but it’s fortunate that its current popularity has nothing to do with Halloween—once the calendar turns to November, there’s no good reason to put the skull jewelry away. It’s really all just in the name of cool.

Here are some of the latest jewels to take stock of when considering your options for going goth now and into 2023. There’s something for everyone to embrace on the dark side, whether their personal style is classic or glam, business or casual. And those vampire weddings? Sign us up for more.
