Advisory and restructuring firm Gordon Brothers has appointed Chris Carmosino as president, valuations.
Carmosino (pictured) has more than 30 years of commercial banking experience. He joins the firm from Citizens Business Capital, where he led the asset-based lending unit.
Carmosino will replace Gordon Brothers’ current president of valuations, Rick Schmitt, who is retiring. Schmitt assumed leadership of the group in 2015 following Gordon Brothers’ acquisition of AccuVal, a leading industrial appraisal company that Schmitt founded and led for 30 years.
Gordon Brothers is the world’s largest appraisal firm serving the asset-based lending industry, and it has the most ASA-accredited appraisers. Its assets are valued at more than $1 trillion.
