Pieces by Bulgari, David Weiss, and Rolex were among the stolen goods
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s New York City pop-up shop for her lifestyle brand Goop was hit by a team of thieves on Saturday who stole more than $170,000 worth of merchandise.
The thieves entered Goop Mrkt during business hours, pried open a case, took the merchandise, and left—all while shoppers were in the store.
Among the stolen goods: a $106,000 Bulgari bracelet, a $43,750 David Weiss bracelet, and three Rolex watches, each valued at $12,000, $7,470, and $3,995.
“There was an isolated incident Saturday afternoon involving a very limited number of items, which was reported to the NYPD,” a Goop spokesperson said in a statement to People. “While the store was crowded during one of our busiest days, thankfully the NYPD responded quickly, our customers and staff are safe, and we remain open for business with proper security precautions in place.”
The pop-up shop opened Nov. 23 in the Time Warner Center on Columbus Circle and is open through Dec. 24.
