The price of gold hit a record high on Thursday of over $1277
an ounce in London trading, with some analysts speculating
it could hit $1,300 an ounce by year’s end.
This is the second time this week that gold prices have hit
an all-time high. On Tuesday gold hit $1,274.95, breaking this summer’s record
of $1,265.
Analysts
credited the weakening dollar and world economic uncertainty for the
increase.
